British Values
At St Michael's we uphold and teach ‘British values’, it runs through all aspects of the curriculum. We believe that these values are aimed at being a good Citizen at a local and national level.
We are implementing the following British values at Huntingtree across our curriculum. This may be through mock elections, the setting up of a school council and during times of collective worship.

- We are responsible for our own behaviour
- We challenge stereotypes and bias
- We are an anti-bullying school
- We promote self knowledge, self esteem and self confidence
- We model freedom of speech in a peaceful manner
British value: Respect and tolerance
- We promote respect
- We have respect for our own and others’ cultures
- We discuss differences of faith, ethnicity, disability, gender and families
